"Cap" in colour - exciting turntable

"Cap" - Finished as he is ogoing to get...........for now!

So here it is, as finished as he is going to get for the time being. Fairly happy with him, although I am sure that I could spend a good few hours tweaking. Hope people like it. Chuffed that I actually got a chance to do this model, now I can move on the next thing.........not sure what that is going to be at the moment though.....watch this space.

And another tweak!!!

So......in an attempt to fix the neck, here is another tweak. At least it looks like a bit of a work in progress with all of these amends.

Hopefully it looks a little less awkward now.........let me know what you think.

Cap Update

Hey Y'all,

Here is a bit of an update on 'Cap'. After some comments on ZBrush Central I have tried to re-pose him a litte and started to add some colour into the mix. Far from a finished piece, but it is starting to get there and considering I had never planned to texture him I am pretty pleased.

As a huge Marvel fan this is a model that I have always wanted to do. Finally I have got round to doing the ZBrush sculpt, no colour or UV's as yet but I think that this is a good start. So here are some renders. The first is straight out of ZBrush and the second is the first frame of a turntable I have started rendering out of XSI.







It is not finished, but I think that it is a good start. The face is my next port of call.............watch this space!!

Post MA stuff

Well here we are post a pretty hectic year on our MA and I have just tried to keep my hand in with some more sketching and ZBrush stuff, so here it is............enjoy!

Some MOOOOOOVIES!!!!!!!!

Here are the movies that I have created as part of my MA in 3D Computer Animation.

Term 3: the "Chopper Dog" term. This was when I decided to concentrate on modelling hence the rather dull turntable:



Term 2: Group Project. This is the piece that I created with Colin Bombard and Ahmad Habash, both of whom where awesome on this project and remains my favourite piece of work to date.........just for it's completeness and stuff. I still love the "Chopper Dog" too.



Term 1: Billy................fond memories............well not really.........this was the first human-ish character animation I did, the Billy model and rig and also the music were given to us all as part of the assignment. The pings at the beginning still send shivers down my spinw!!



Term 1: This is my first piece of character animation ever..........still quite happy with it as a start point.

Some other old work

Might one day get up to a point where the stuff I put up stuff that i have done recently, but until that point I might as well clear the back log of stuff that i have been fudging around with since I started the course.............................ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

More Randomness

The apple was part of a kind of tutorial that I followed from http://www.conceptart.org/ (bumskee is a legend) really useful as had never really done any painting before digital or otherwise so now I am trying to get some done whenever I get the chance.

Quick Change!!

Having had a bit of feedback about a piece of work that I was not overly happy with I decided to make a few changes in the small amount of spare time I have these days. The original image can be seen in the previous post..........I think it is better but still much to change.

Just some random stuff to start with.

To kick off this whole blog type thing I thought that I would just chuck down some random images that I have created. Some are work from my previous life as a "Reatil Interior Designer" and others are just pictures that I have done for no real reason at all. Will hopefully get the chance to put up some of the work that I am currently engaged in and some of the work that I have completed as part of my MA in 3D Computer Animation................so much for everyone to look forward to!!

Hope this first installment is in some ways interesting...................

Because my life is sooooooo interesting I thought that yu should all be able to read about it and see what i have been up to whenever the need takes you.

Hopefully, I will actually get round to putting some of the work that i have been doing up here, but for now I am going to leave you wanting............appartently that is what you tare supposed to do!!
